Counting down to the start of the 2016-17 college basketball season on Nov. 11, ASN’s Mark Adams previews the players, teams and conferences to watch. Today: Nos. 20-11 in the top 100 players from ASN’s family of schools.

tim-kempton-1920.       Tim Kempton | Lehigh

The senior, a tough low-post scorer, has increased his range to 17 feet. He knocked down 75.5% of his free throws, averaging 17.7 points and 9.5 rebounds per game while shooting 55% on field goals. He is the next Patriot League player to the NBA.

jordan-price-1819.       Jordan Price | LaSalle

This Price is alright! The senior is one of the great natural scorers in the nation (team-leading 19.2 ppg). His return and that is huge for the Explorers.

mo-alie-cox-1718.       Mo Alie-Cox | VCU

The senior is an absolute stud who will have a breakout season after shooting 61.2% on field goals, a school single-season record.

Men's basketball team17.       Gary Clark | Cincinnati

This 6-7 do-it-all junior forward (10.4 ppg, 8.8 rpg, 2.1 assists per game) was The American’s Defensive Player of the Year last season. He’s back and even better.

jimmy-hall-1516.       Jimmy Hall | Kent State

Showtime! At 6-8 and 235 pounds, the senior forward can dominate (16.4 ppg, 7.9 rpg last season). He even has his own show on Kent State’s website.

charles-cooke-1415.       Charles Cooke | Dayton

The senior guard is an elite scoring talent who creates mismatches. One high Flyer! Led team in scoring (15.6 ppg) and 3-point shooting (39.6%).

jaylen-adams-1314.       Jaylen Adams | St. Bonaventure

Developed into one of Atlantic 10’s premier shooters (17.9 ppg, eighth in the conference). Led the A-10 in 3-point shooting (43.8%).

rob-gray-jr-1213.       Rob Gray Jr. | Houston

Kelvin Sampson’s players get tougher and better. This junior guard, The American’s second-leading scorer last season (16 ppg), will do both.

Men's basketball team12.       Troy Caupain, Cincinnati

The senior might be the most solid point guard in the country (13 ppg, 4.8 apg). Mick Cronin’s bunch will be very good again.

dedric-lawson-1111.       Dedric Lawson, Memphis

Tubby Smith inherits a potential pro in the sophomore. Memphis always has talent and Lawson insures enough talent for Tubby to win.
