Counting down to the start of the 2016-17 college basketball season on Nov. 11, ASN’s Mark Adams previews the players, teams and conferences to watch. Today: Nos. 80-71 in the top 100 players from ASN’s family of schools.

The junior, the Southern Conference Defensive Player of the Year, averaged 11.1 points and 5.0 rebounds per game. See below.

79.       Tre’ McLean | Chattanooga

Tuoyo and McLean, also a junior, can’t be separated. An All-Southern Conference first-teamer, McLean averaged 12.1 ppg and 6.3 rpg.

The senior, an All-Patriot League first-teamer, averaged 15.2 ppg. He and BU are a threat to Lehigh.

 

nana-foulland-7777.       Nana Foulland | Bucknell

A developing junior ready for a breakout season. He averaged 11.8 ppg and can score using a jump hook with either hand.

 

kahron-ross-7676.       Kahron Ross, Lehigh

Tim Kempton plus this junior (11.2 ppg, 6.1 apg) gives Lehigh the best 1-2 punch in the Patriot League.

 

xavier-moon-7575.       Xavier Moon | Morehead State

The senior (10.2 ppg) will make the last run of his career for an OVC crown. A full Moon is a key to Morehead State’s season.

 

charles-cooper-7474.       Charles Cooper | Green Bay

The senior (13.6 ppg) was a key to winning the Horizon League Tournament. Cooper is a physical 6-4, 220 guard who can punish defenders.

The senior averaged 9.9 rpg. If rebounds gave guys extra credit, Edosomwan would be valedictorian!

 

yohanny-dalimbert-7272.       Yohanny Dalembert | James Madison

The senior, a defensive and rebounding game-changer from Haiti, averaged 9.3 ppg and 6.8 rpg.

 

william-adala-moto-7171.       William Adala Moto | Towson

The senior (13.9 ppg, 8.3 rpg) leads a team that won 20 games last season and led the CAA with +7.2 rpg.
